A Magical Night for Danielle and Jason!

What can I say about this wedding...it was so perfect! I had only worked with Danielle for a short time but she was very clear that she wanted a simple, garden wedding and that's exactly what she got! The ceremony and reception took place at Casa Feliz in Winter Park (http://www.casafeliz.us/). Both events were supposed to be outside on the lawns but the week before the wedding we realized that a cold front was coming through on Thursday and by Saturday it was to be freezing! So heaters or no heaters...it was going to be a cold night. We left the ceremony outside on the front lawn and with the sun still high in the sky it was perfect weather. The cocktail reception was hosted on the back lawn and with the sun quickly falling it was time to move the guests inside for dinner. Arthur's Catering did a phenomenal job with the food (http://www.arthurscatering.com/) which was topped off with the gorgeous wedding cake produced by Julie with Cut the Cake (http://www.cutthecake.com/). After dinner, Jeff and Ryan with White Rose Entertainment (http://www.orlandodj.com/) got everyone warmed up on the dance floor! The small group of guests was made up of only close friends and relatives which created emotional toasts and speeches and a fabulous song by the groom as he serenaded his new wife on the dance floor! Every moment was captured for a lifetime by Jill Porter Photography (http://www.jillporterphotography.com/). It was an event I was so thrilled to be part of and I wish Danielle and Jason a lifetime of happiness together!

What a fun couple!!

So I've posted this wedding previously in our blog with some of the still images but I have to share this short video of Christie and Dave Greenstein by Rhodes Studios (http://www.rhodesstudios.com/). It is so much fun and is just a quick highlight reel of couple...being themselves and having a blast!

Julie and Mike at City Arts Factory

Julie and Mike live in Delaware so we had the pleasure of planning their wedding long distance and with Julie's mom here in Orlando. We had such a great time working with all of them to make this afternoon wedding everything they expected and more! The ceremony was a full Catholic Mass at Blessed Trinity Catholic Chuch and was simple and relaxed. Guests then traveled to a luncheon reception in the loft at City Arts Factory (http://www.cityartsfactory.com/). The food was fabulous thanks to John Michael Catering (http://www.johnmichaelevents.com/) and the fresh, vibrant floral added just the right touch to the sunlit loft (http://www.cherylsdistinctivecreations.com/). The guests were all close family and friends and the music by DJ Alicia was perfect for the relaxed atmosphere (http://www.completemusicvideo.com/). Of course photographer Scoobie (http://www.scoobiephoto.com/) and videographer JoAnn (http://www.rhodesstudios.com/) captured every moment of this family affair! Julie and Mike were a fun couple and we were excited to be part of their special day!

Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Palmer!!

We only got to work with Jennifer and Clay for a short time prior to their wedding as Blush was enlisted for Day Of Coordination but it was such a fun event to be part of! The ceremony was stunning in the Knowles Chapel at Rollins College. Guests then made their way over to the Maitland Civic Center for dinner and cocktails and a fabulous party compliments of Levan's Catering (http://www.levans.com/) and Marc Burgess Productions (www.djmarcburgess.com). Every moment was captured perfectly by Rhodes Studios (http://www.rhodesstudios.com/) who was on hand for both photography and videography. Jennifer and Clay are a fabulous couple and we wish them many blessed years together!!

Congratulations Melissa and David!

We have been working with Melissa and David for almost a year and were to excited to see them finally say "I Do" on Saturday, January 3rd. It was a beautiful ceremony at Annunciation Catholic Church followed by a Latin Flavored reception at the Embassy Suites in Downtown Orlando. There were 3 differently designed centerpieces (www.cherylsdistinctivecreations.com) throughout the room and candlelight everywhere! DJ Freddy Sanchez of Soundwave Entertainment (www.djsoundwave.net) rocked the dance floor all night long while photographer Misty Miotto (www.mistymiotto.com) captured every lasting moment! We were thrilled to work with the new Mr. and Mrs. Collazo and wish them all of the happiness in the world!

So Much Fun at the Bridal Show!

Blush partnered with Greenery Productions (www.greeneryproductions.com) and Unique Option (www.unique-option.com) for a great booth at the Perfect Wedding Guide Bridal Show on Sunday, February 8th. We met so many amazing couples and had so much fun learning about all of the upcoming weddings. Hopefully all of the brides that came out got some great ideas for their big day!!

Saints & Sinners

Thursday, January 15th, Blush had the opportunity to attend a Perfect Wedding Guide party at the Heaven Event Center (www.heaveneventcenter.com) in Orlando.  If you have never been to this venue, you should check it out when looking for a location for your next event.  It is truly a blank canvas.  Because the theme was Saints & Sinners, the whole space was divided into 2 parts.  One was pure white with linens, centerpieces, and even the lighting.  The other half of the room was a deep red with fun red linens, flowers, and lighting.  The ambiance was amazing thanks to BBJ Linen (www.bbjlinen.com), Flourish for the flowers (www.flourishproductions.com), and PTE Productions (www.pteproductions.com) for the lighting!  Everyone in attendance wore either red or white to go along with the theme, and a few brave souls even dressed up in costume.  I saw a nun, a priest, and a handful of devil's horns.  The cake, provided by Party Flavors (www.orlandocustomcakes.com), was awesome!  It definitely kept to the theme.  One layer had fluffy white clouds and angel's wings, while another layer had bright red flames shooting up the cake.  And even better, it tasted delicious!  There was also a flowing chocolate fountain provided by Chocolate Traditions (www.chocolatetraditions.com).  Puff n' Stuff (www.puffnstuff.com) catering provided all the food for the evening and BarFly Bar Catering Services (www.bar-fly.net) whipped up fancy drinks all night long!  In between stuffing our faces with all the great food, everyone danced to the fun music played by Tagas (www.completemusicvideo.com).  And last, but not least, thanks to the guys from Five Star Valet for parking and retrieving our cars on such a chilly Florida winter night.
